Introduction

This paper intends to discuss the essentials of a queuing system along with the single server waiting line system. Queuing theory is basically the study of waiting lines or queues in a mathematical manner. Such systems are developed for the purpose of predicting the queue lengths and waiting times. A single server waiting line system is assumed to be simplest kind of the queuing systems. The purpose of this paper is to make the reader aware about the essentials of a queuing system along with the single server waiting line system simultaneously.
