Most of the time, when a patient undergoes any harm there is a hand of some medical error which has even claimed the lives of many innocent people. This has been quite an interesting topic for most of the quality engineers as well as quality managers. Apart from that reduction of medical errors has become the core objective of the international world. In this lieu, a number of studies are carried out on a large number of the population which has shown unexceptional rate for the medical injuries along with a number of easily preventable deaths

However, the problem can easily be solved by the better understanding between the domains of quality improvement and risk management along with the very principles of simulation modeling, which are quite helpful for laying the basic framework for the organization.

Quality and Risk Management in Healthcare Sector

Introduction

There are a number of reasons which give rise to the medical accidents. One of them, which is quite prevalent includes the imperfect safe practice within various hospital and medical services providers. Clinical teams are the one who should be brought on-board while working for the change to empower them. Clinical governance is another core aspect which demand some attention as far as clinical risk management and continue development is under consideration.

However, the major health concern is related to the healthcare-associated infection which are the cause of death and all across the world. Another key aspect of it is related to the unawareness of medical personnel and workforce which undermine these infections and hence become the cause for the development of HAI (Healthcare Associated Infection) among the other staffs and patients also.

Hence, as per above major health concerns the stakeholders and management should have to devise a proper strategy to fight against such mismanagement. The risks are both related to planning management as well as personnel awareness. However, the paper will focus greatly on the infrastructure development along with subsequent implications and loopholes with the awareness issues of the healthcare staff.
