The company Pure and Sparkling Water was established by Mike Wolfe which was aimed to float a product in the market which can help in purifying water.

Since there are a lot many water purifying products present in the market, to create hype in the market the product of Mr. Mike Wolfe was named as PURITY II Naturalize water unit. The basic goal of the company was to only focus on the filtration and purification of the water for all the industrial markets. The company of Pure and Sparkling water was started from a small business unit but it started to grow gradually. Mr. Mike Wolfe did not invest a huge amount of capital for the commencement of the project; rather the project was started with a basic capital of $20,000 only. Mr. Wolfe had to work hard for this savings as well. He managed tp collect this amount by asking for loans from his relatives and obviously also invested his small savings. The set up of the company is not very huge. Mr. Wolfe hired two college students, which he employed part time. The main responsibility of these employees was to make phone calls to their clients and offer them a free demo of the unit at the customer's home.

Monthly operating budget of the company was $4,500 of which rent was the major part to be paid off. The rest of the company's budget was constituted of the computer supplies, telephone bills, secretary's salary etc.

The purification technique used at the PURTIY II plant was of the process of reverse osmosis purification. Till date the process of reverse osmosis is known to be the most effective and efficient technology which is known to purify the water to a great extent. The technology of reverse osmosis purification is certified by a number of Environmental Protection Agencies. The reason of popularity of this technology is that is considerably reduce the level of a lot of foreign substances which includes mercury, sediment, lead, bacteria, rust, fluoride, arsenic ad most of the insecticides to a high extent in the water.
