This paper aims to give a detailed review and analysis of the Annual report of Fisher Communications (Private Limited Company). The company serves in the media and communications market and is based in the United States. An overall analysis of the company's current situation, policies, Human Resource management and strategies would be done in the paper. Also, an overview on the current recommended practices in HRM would also be discussed. The primary source of information and data is the company's latest Annual report published in December, 2011. The paper intends to thoroughly analyze the different areas of its operations, primarily the human resource management of the company and also reviews the policies of the company and gives recommendations to enhance their operations.

Fisher Communications is based in Seattle, Washington and is responsible for creating, distributing and aggregating entertainment information to a broad and diverse range of audiences.
Currently, the company operates more than 20 television stations. These channels also include their network affiliations with other major companies i.e. CBS, ABC and FOX etc. The company also has eight radio channels that cover a wide range of audience across the country. The Interactive Network of Fisher produces more than 125 local and hyperlocal websites and also provides a wide range of solutions related to advertising, media and communications to local businesses based in Washington. The headquarters of the Company is at Fisher Plaza, a 300,000 square foot telecommunications, media and data facility in Seattle, WA.
Fisher Communications was founded in 1910. Soon, the company began a flour milling operation and invested in other Northwest businesses. In the year 1926, a radio station named 'KOMO' made its first broadcast. The company expanded by buying different radio channels and starting television broadcasting stations. Later, the company also indulged in property management and Real estate operations. Fisher Communications is part of the rich history of the Northwest region of the United States.
