Introduction

The purpose of this study is to expand the boundaries of our knowledge by exploring some relevant facts and figures relating to Public health and prevention. Prevention is a series of measures aimed at preventing disease or other undesirable phenomenon of sickness, by controlling causes and risk factors. It involves the prevention of important consequences of serious illness through its early detection and treatment. The aim of prevention is to take swift and effective action to restore health; it is also intended to hinder the progress or complications of the disease. In this way, the prevention leads to a reduction of disability. A significant element of prevention is also the prevention of adverse patterns of social behaviors that contribute to disease risk Enhancement. Under the conditions of everyday life for preventive actions of individuals, population and environment interpenetrate each other and are closely related. In the next section, the author will examine different aspects of public health and prevention.

Discussion

Social and Preventive direction to protect and enhance people's health includes medical, sanitation, hygiene and socio-economic activities. Creating a system of disease prevention and elimination of risk factors is an important socio-economic and medical problem of the state. There are individual and social prevention. Depending on the state of health, risk factors of disease or severe disease in humans consider three types of prevention (Roth, pp. 121-134).

Primary prevention is a system of measures to prevent the emergence and impact of risk factors for disease (vaccination, rational work and rest, good nutrition, physical activity, environmental sanitation, etc.). For primary prevention, include socio-economic activities of the state to improve the health lifestyle, environment, education and other preventive activities is compulsory for all health care workers (Nnakwe, pp. 34-39).
