Introduction

Public health research is a very diverse field for which both the quantitative and qualitative research methods can be utilized in public health research.

As Engeberston explains in his article participation in community activities is dependent on the initial health-seeking behaviors of the individual. Focus group interviews can be conducted with both attendees and nonattendees of a program offering health education and screenings in various settings in semi rural areas.
