Introduction

The present work aims to address the scope of the role of psychologist in the criminal justice system of the U.S. It is widely argued amongst scientists and distinguished researchers that psychology could and should serve great purpose in the justice system. The system can incorporate the concepts of the human sciences and their psychology and implement on the incarcerated, i.e. those members of the U.S. population that are serving sentences in imprisonment.
