Introduction

The purpose of this research proposal is based on the study of outsourcing manpower. The concept of outsourcing was previously viewed as an action which only larger organizations could depend upon, since that particular time outsourcing has gained immense popularity and presently outsourcing is a norm instead of an option, the more organizations realize the benefits of outsourcing the more companies are considering it, apart from the fact that outsourcing is cost effective it is also viewed as a competitive advantage, since work is being delegated to only the best service providers, experts in their respective fields. Outsourcing has created a lot of opportunities for organizations to utilize the best skills available which would have otherwise cost a fortune can now be achieved in a lesser price (Anonymous, 2012).

Rouse (2007) has defined outsourcing as a suitable arrangement in which one company is responsible for providing services to another company, the services rendered can also be performed at the organization and in the past these activities were done in the company itself, however outsourcing is increasingly becoming a trend since businesses are realizing the fact that people can have various activities outsourced which would be done at a cheaper price and secondly it would give the company the chance of focusing on the core aspects of the business instead of focusing on routine work. However as the concept gains popularity many tasks are being outsourced which would not have been in the past.

According to a study presented the most prominent reason that companies state as the number one reason why they opt for outsourcing is the major cost reduction, considering the fact that the world is currently experiencing an economic downturn, in such situations companies face an increasing dilemma in trying to maintain the business while reduce their costs. This is the major reason behind why companies are outsourcing their HR processes, many HR mangers consider it the future claiming most organisations are actually looking for their opportunity to outsource their HR the reason being, managers have to pay a large some of money to HR, while there is a cheaper alternative, the same work could be done at a cheaper value, that too by someone with the right kind of expertise, who wouldn't opt for such an opportunity. Apparently a large number of HR jobs are being outsourced, many others will be in the near future organisations argue that in order to be successful organisations need to find ways through which they can reduce their costs, however the most organisations are outsourcing their HR the more people have ongoing concerns regarding the fact that the more HR is outsourced the more people will be left without jobs. However on the other hand many people believe that once the regular repetitive work is outsourced, it provides the employees a greater opportunity to focus on far more important things.
