Executive Summary

The report contains the background information pertaining to the Laggan Forest Trust and the Abriachan Forest Trust and how they have come up with an idea of reinventing forests within Scotland and how they adapted a strategy to get the people and the community to play a major role in developing these forests again. It is from their initiatives that we have proposed a new project as well to further enhance the Laggan forest with the help of the community. The report than provides a brief justification for the project as it is vital to provide a basis for a project before actually starting a project. Moreover, this justification can also play a vital role in getting the funding and the voluntary services that the project would require. Moving on, the report provides project outline which maps out the details of work which will be undertaken by the project and the group as a whole and how would the group go about completing the project. Finally, the report provides a critical review of the project which gives the reader the necessary information about the loopholes of the report and the projects due to constraints and how these constraints may be overlooked or undertaken.
