The National Health Service (NHS) is one of the most valued public sector institutions of UK, providing healthcare, which is free at the delivery point. One of the original goals put forth in The NHS Plan: A Plan for Investment, a Plan for Reform was to build over 100 new hospitals. The Southmead Integrated Community Hospital redevelopment project, as part of North Bristol Trust program, has been approved for new facilities' capacity construction to support a service activity projected for about 30,000 patients (the expected full capacity is demonstrated in the activity table in the appendix). The project manager has been assigned the project of building Southmead Integrated Community Hospital, whereas I am responsible for procuring goods and services required for project completion. In this paper, I will deliver a Project Proposal for the procurement management of Southmead Integrated Community Hospital. All the procurement tasks, in addition to, the schedule for the accomplishment of these tasks will be provided in the Proposal.
Project Objectives
The objective of the procurement plan is establishment of North Bristol NHS trust methodology to obtain its services and products objectives by means of fair and transparent practices of procurement while imparting a positive effect on the environment and local community.

The tasks of new community hospital facilities' designing and construction management along with the medical service equipment refurbishment are assigned to project team so as to fulfill the activity requirements indicated in table 1. In order to support the project team, there is a pressing need of development of a procurement plan so as to guide the procurement professionals, technical team and bidding vendors to comprehend and execute the procurement plan successfully to procure goods and services needed to finish off the project within budget, schedule and scope. Scheduling of Plan using Gantt Chart
The procurement plan development in from of Gantt chart will facilitate both the procurement team but most importantly the sponsor stakeholder as they can quickly review major activities, and the overall procurement process timeline. Since the Gantt chart is a live document, therefore, it is projected to modify with the start of the procurement process starts and thus, numerous updates will be done before accomplishment of the project.
