A Project Process can simply be defined as the methodologies, techniques, resources, actions and activities that are involved for the execution of different tasks that are interlinked to each other and are involved in that project. Any project, big or small, cannot be executed without following a proper and well-organized process. In fact, it will be fair to say that the desired outcomes of the project are dependent on the strategies and policies that are adapted by the individuals or/and teams involved. Therefore, a step by step process is essential for executing projects of varying nature. In addition, the execution of each step of the project in an organized manner also ensures the sustainability of the success and the overall project. In addition, whatever project process chosen will be present with some challenges. However, it is essential that the project participants must cash the opportunities and deal with the threats and disadvantages accordingly in order to ensure the success of the project.

Discussion

A few days back, I was a part of a project that included planning and designing a maintenance system for an organization. It is important to note that the project required lots of research for its proceedings. In addition, I went through a literature that was related to the project and discovered various new aspects regarding the technical, engineering, managerial and technological aspects of maintenance of the infrastructure of an Organization. I also learned the implication and application in the practical aspects of whatever I learned. Moreover, I also learned the limitations of the project and the various ways and methodologies that can be adapted in order to minimize the effect of these limitations. Furthermore, the project also helped me in learning the various new methodologies and techniques that are utilized very often in the recent times and to what extent they are applicable to this particular maintenance management project.
