The art of organizing, planning, managing and securing resources; to accomplish specific goals, is a term as as Project management. Projects are also defining as, temporary assignments that have a particular start and a definite ending and are usually having time and money limitations. They are design to meet specific goals, and to bring out the best value or a change that benefits all. There is a great difference between the nature of both the business and projects; business is a repetitive activity which is either semi permanent or permanent activities that are perform to generate products or services. In practical terms; the handling of both these processes if usually very different and demands particular managerial and technical skills.

The basic aim of project management is to accomplish all the goals of the project while working through the constraints. The advance and more business oriented purpose are; to maximize the usage of the required resources and to organize them to achieve the goals. The question is what and how to manage things during the completion or working of projects?Discussion

If you control your workforce too much and too closely it will not be beneficial for your business, however, giving them a right hand will not help either. According to Parkinson's theory, work spreads out according to the time that is available for its completion, though, this is not the theory any business can be run on. The practical and sensible way of running the business is through the project management scheduling, planning and controlling will help assess the time that is require to manage and execute the task and generate an environment that is realistic and reliable. Though, it is true that time that is give to complete the assignment is the one in which the teams usually finish the asks, however, it is also not fair to give unrealistic timelines to the teams. The successful project management means; that the goals of the assignments are clearly define, the level of requirements and the desired resources are available and if moving backward one should be able to define the task in phases. It is also important to involve your teams and ensure their proper functioning.
