Introduction

The four phased management approach starts with initiation. In initiation, we start the project by business case documentation, study regarding its feasibility, its reference terms, and team appointment and managing a project office. Then we go for planning. In planning, we design the road map plan regarding project; it includes project plan. Then execution comes, where we compute the controlling of project delivery, cost, risks, scope, qualities and issues. Closure comes at last, where we wind down project by freeing the staff, hand over deliverables to the client and finalizing the post implementation interview (Heldman, 2003).

PERT Techniques

Program Evaluation & Review Technique or (PERT's) primary objective is to ease the decision making process and to decrease both time and cost necessary to finalize the project. It is a tool for project management used to organize, schedule and coordinate task involved in the project. It also describes the schedule of time required to finish the given task, as well as the whole project. Pert planning involves the following tasks. It includes identifying activities and milestones, determination of sequence involve in the activity, network diagram construction, calculation time required as per activity, critical path determination and updating PERT charts as per projects' progress (Heldman, 2003).

Agile Project Management

Project management can defined as the application of information, skills, tools, and methods to a wide series of activities to meet up the necessities of a given project. Agile Management can be graded as one of the innovative techniques that are launched for the application of project management. It's one of the newest project supervision techniques that are used for project management in software development. It is convenient to narrate agile project to the software development process to get its perception (James, 2007).
