Family, religion and government organizations are a few influential sources for values and ethics in society. Values and ethics can impact careers and enhance the positions in a professional arena. Goals of an organization are based on the kind of values and ethics they portray. When an organization presents its values and ethics they must remain and work consistently with those same values and ethics. Those values and ethics provide a stepping stone for employees in which they can work and relate to the business successfully.
Values and ethics are part and parcel of human life. To find the difference, you can keep people where they should be, allowing them to be a good example for others. People wanted someone to go the ethical life, not just hear about it. What determines the value, because it shows that the most important. This is the standard people hold themselves accountable to actions that are based on the values they live. When people have good values, he may have in other areas of life, both professional and personal. (Seglin 2002)

Values are the principles or qualities that you consider important, which play an important role in your life. Your values can help you achieve your goals and help you develop rules for your life, setting a foundation for your decisions and actions.' Values can also be things that are important or valued by an individual or an organization. (Joseph & Badaracco 2006)
“Ethics on the other hand, are principles of right and wrong that are accepted by an individual or a social group.” Ethics are important because they show people the concepts of wrong and right, and help them to have an understanding in solving problems and issues. Importantly, ethics shows a person how to relate to others who may have different views or even how to relate under various unlikely circumstances. Individuals have a tendency to react and respond to people in a negative manner when they do not have a clear understanding ethics.
