Professional Developmental Plan
Introduction
In order to formulate my professional, developmental plan for rehabilitation psychologist, it is imperative to analyze and review the licensure and certification requirements for the professional practice of psychology in New York. The requirements are analogous in different occupations within the psychology that are regulated by the State of New York. There are specific requirements for the master's and doctoral level clinician. I, however, have the intended emphasis area of rehabilitation psychologist as well as the anticipated opportunity of research teacher in the university. I am determined to enhance my strengths and work on my weaknesses. I can join two organizations of NYSPA and APA which would be beneficial for my growth as a psychology professional. The American psychological association will be a contributing element in networking and in the attainment of my goals and objectives.
