Time and Effort Management

Time and effort management is all about mine personal ability because my goals are aimed against time frame and on the basis of time management plan, overall learning outcome associated with it. Secondly, I can explain the different efforts that required to achieve my goals across the time frame and thus efforts needed in a different way. This is because I am good in creating and evaluating self assessment on the basis of efforts that put in work.

Perhaps the most compelling reason to value the self management competency is because it is highly correlated with learning success in future. Therefore, the increasing attention basically highlighting the ideas of self regulation by making timely efforts and essential competency required to manage time and efforts management.

Interpersonal Competencies handing emotion & conflict

Strong emotions always the root cause for solving or getting involved into any conflict. Through personal experience, there are variety of strong and sometimes there are negative emotions. On the basis of personal assessment, I realized that emotions of anger, frustration, worry, fear or confusion can lead to substantive disputes. Thus, I have learned and have a strong grip on controlling my emotions and avoiding conflicts. This is achieved through controlling the emotions, similarly, maintaining self control in tense situations is the core essence of the competency.

Although I showed good understanding of emotions but still I felt that there are certain things that need to be learned in future to be more efficient. Similarly, I am trying to mold myself according to different situations in which emotions required to link with what required at the time when they needed the most. However the only way that I feel could improve in future is that healthy conversations with people and attending workshops and conference on managing emotions and conflicts will improve my professional skills.

One of the self development competency developed in me is the affective motivation that basically deals with the way in which experience and process behave as per emotions. Therefore, the expectancy I found more in cognitive nature. As per my own experience, motivation in terms of emotional reactions to certain situations are mainly dependent on the psychological states, that is why, motivation help me to control my different states that came abruptly because of the reaction to a certain situation. Similarly, if I compared myself with expectancy theory, I am better in reflecting my motivation in those situations that targeted by theory.

As I developed motivation through self development, therefore, I realized that engaging myself with motivation and competency is what help me in developing and improving practices by enhancing my interpersonal skills and motivation to understand through the experiences.
