The success of an organization primarily relies upon the performance and abilities that its employees and workforce has and not on the capabilities possessed by the individual. It basically depends on the manner in which the workers communicate and work with one another. In the current, fast paced business environment, merely hiring a staff is not sufficient but it is essential that the organization develops the workers and facilitate them with the training in order to accomplish its goals and fulfill the requirements of the work. The workers need to be retrained so that they are able to keep themselves updated with the latest technology and may be able to compete in the global market. Thus, it is necessary that the professional and personal skills of the workers are evaluated so that both, individual and organizational objectives may be achieved. This paper deals with the professional development of the strategic managers through the evaluation of their personal and professional skills.
