Introduction

Problem solving is a process of analyzing a problem to reach an appropriate solution. Problem solving involves setting objectives and designing a strategy to achieve goals. The problem solving process consists of the following steps. 

Planning

Seigler & Alibali (2005) Planning is the process which involves maintaining and creating a plan, to achieve goals and objectives. Children are usually positive thinkers, so they react without planning. For example if children spend more time in watching cartoons and do not do their homework, then parents plan their time distribution.
