John Barbot and the Slave Trade Document

John Barbot worked as an agent for the French Royal African Company, who travelled to the West Coast of Africa at least twice, in 1678 and 1682. John Barbot wrote a document about the slave trade in Africa. John wrote the document in 1732, which discussed the atrocities and the mechanism of slavery that took place in Africa (Barbot, 1732).
