The current issue that is creating complexity in heath care setting is the shortage of physician in health care setting. In the current scenario, the demand will outpace supply through 2025. Educating more physicians will be needed to address the shortage of physicians in the US. The US association has identified as the increasing number of students in Association of American Medical Colleges. The growing issue had a high impact on the treatment of patients as the patients are suffering from the primary care services issues in the US (Dill, et.al 2008).

The increasing demand of physicians is the centre of attention for the policy makers in the US. As the demands of people are that are newly entered in the field and for the supply they should provide certain incentives to motivate and capture physicians for retaining them in health care setting. These days the supply is low, and demand is high in the coming years the researchers have estimated that the supply will be increased up till 2025 due to newly entrant practitioner in the health care filed (Carrier, 2011).

Discussion

The shortage of health care practitioners leads to the patient care needs in the health care setting. It depicts that the need of the patients are mismatched when the issues regarding the demand and supply prevails in the health care settings. The difference in the treatment of patients and the availability of physicians depends upon the insurance and uninsured citizens. As the insure citizen are given significant attention as care as they will receive the amount form insurance company rather than the uninsured citizen that are suffered from a shortage of health practitioners (Carrier, et.al 2011).
