PREVENTION OF TRANSMISSION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE: STUDIES ON HAND HYGIENE IN HEALTH-CARE AMONG STUDENTS

Abstract

The study focuses on the benefits of hand washing in terms of the reduction of risk for the transmission of infectious elements. The study involves 40 students of KG, primary secondary and college with their hand swab samples before and after washing their hands being analysed for finding out bacterial pathogens that dominated. The effectiveness of hand washing in the reduction of transmission of pathogen into the body is highlighted.
