Prevalence of Obesity in USA

There are two layers of this photograph, and there can be two possible interpretations of this photograph (Clarke, 1997). We will uncover each of these layers one by one, the first is the commentary of how adverse effects of any natural calamity are. In some manners, this is a photograph of a man standing with a Gun in hand with a ruptured house. So the subtitle has helped. The man's house is shattered, and thus it reflects the overall turbulence of the tornado that happened in the Mississippi. Still the man is not in genuine remorse or unnecessarily showing the emotion, instead, he is gathering the broken pieces of his life. But still his sprit is not broken. He is again at it, so it shows that no matter what the circumstances are, the human hope and the resilience cannot be broken

The other possible interpretation that can be given is that it shows this man's fascination with the arms, despite his house is being in a terrible mess; the man is probably unfazed by it and is casual about it. Instead, he is more worried about the condition of his ammunition. Probably the man is alone because no family member of him cannot be seen standing with him. There is also one possible layer in the photograph that the condition of his house shows the impact of the tornado. All in all, it is a good portrayal of the impact and also shows the psyche of the people at that time around. It also shows the human behavior of rising above the adversities. So probably, this is a perfect way to understand that you have to understand the meaning and context of the photograph deeply to comprehend what photograph means (Clarke, 1997).

This image signifies that how those images should not be studied in isolation and should be studied into the context of the text that is given in the subtitle. Although once it can perceive as the “family picnic” as in the picture or it may seem that the some sort of recreational activity is going on. But the subtitle gives the context to photograph and shows that it is after the Australian Bushfire was encroaching. So this gives the overall perspective to the picture, as now it can be seemed that there is some sort of panic that is going on, and it now probably can be seen that there is some escapade going on. The color scheme that is being used elaborates that it might be time of the sun fall, and it is probably a sightseeing going on with it. It also seems that it is the time of the dawn. The effects give a more calming and restraining feel to photograph it is seen in isolation.

Now we will see it with the text and now it creates completely different projection. As the Bushfire is near, and it is encroaching, there is some sort of hassle that seems to be settling ...
