Guantanamo Bay is a detention facility located in Cuba, and has detainees close to a 166. Gitmo gives a bad reputation to the international community about the treatment that the prisoners get. Closing this facility has been the agenda of both the Republican and Democratic presidential contenders, Senator John McCain, and Senator Barack Obama. The prisoners that are detained there are mainly those who have been accused of plotting terror attacks against the United States.
