Did you know what pregnancy going to be like?

No I had no idea what it was going to be like.

When did you see the doctor?

I first went to the hospital that is where I got a pregnancy test. It was a urine test. And I was two months pregnant when I first went to see my doctor.

How often did you go see your doctor?

Once a month, and the last month was once a week.

Did you take prenatal vitamins?

Yes but I would forget to take them.

Did you have prenatal classes?

No, but I read about pregnancy.

Was there any blood work done?

Yes I think so.

Were you worried about anything being wrong with the baby?

No I knew he was going to be normal.

Who was with you in the delivery room?

My husband and the doctors were there; my husband was although nervous himself, but he gave me complete care and support while I was delivering the baby.

Did you have and ultrasound to find out what the baby was going to be?

Yes, but my husband didn't let us see. Although it made shopping relatively easier for me, but I thought to myself that 'Let's just wait for the right time to come'.

How was your delivery?

Very painful, I told the doctors to leave me alone, since I was screaming and couldn't think of anything. It is like you're swinging between life and death; something so powerful, yet so painful that you can't even think straight or do something sane.

Was any medication like the epical used?

No medication at the time my boy was born. With my daughter I did take it.

How did you know you were in labor?
