The clear assessment of the case has been done, and special consideration has been given to legal and policy frameworks when going through this case. The basic idea is to show that what is the importance of social work and what are its applications. The linkage of theory and practice has also been made in this case study. All of the possible outcomes are being summarized as well. The work that has been done in this case has emphasized on the value of the systems theory and task centered approach has been applied. Other thing that has been done is that themes and subjects of oppression, discrimination and power are being kept in mind and anti oppressive framework is the point of reference. The legality and legal aspects of much common themes such as ethics, communication and stereotypes is also being looked at.

The confidentiality is of prime importance in the compilation of this report and extreme care has been taken to make sure that all the names of the people involved and altered, for instance parents will be referred as Mr. and Mrs. D respectively, eldest kid will be called as “J”, then there will be “T” and the youngest one will be called “M”. The prior permission has been taken from the family as it involves them.

The case sturdy talks about a Lebanese Muslim family, there is a couple with the name of Mr. and Mrs. D aged 57 and 49 respectively. They have three kids, who are aged 17, 14 and 12 years respectively. They were allocated to me as per CIN plan. The reason they were referred because there were concerns about T's absenteeism, and she was not really mixing with some of the other kids at school (Howe, 2009). She was a back bencher and she was not associating herself to anyone. She was also not taking care of her personal hygiene. When EWO team visited their home, it was seen that the home was bit crowded.

One of the more important things when making good relationships with the users of the service is that one should gather information about the issues (Goldberg et al, 1985). So developing good relationships with the members of the family was really important. So it was imperative that communication skills should be real good. It has to be kept in mind thought that good communication does not depend entirely on the verbal comfort but it also talks about the non-verbal communication. Good communication is all the more important for social workers as it is a service that is really sensitive in its nature (Goldberg et al, 1985). There are people who are needed to be treated who might be coming from diverse backgrounds and acclimating to them is really important.
