Introduction

Major Difference

Thermal power plant uses the thermal energy which is important in preserving the environment, it has many advantages over other ways of obtaining energy, such as not polluting, rational, not need turbines or generators to produce electricity, requires no maintenance and no consumption, no fuel, but it has the disadvantage of requiring large investments for your use (Schubel, Coutant & Woodhead, 1978, pp. 19-93). It derives the energy of sunlight can be converted via photovoltaic or to produce electricity by thermally to produce heat and electricity.

Nuclear power plant is considered as the subject of industry and energy which is thermal power plant that produces electricity by using energy derived from nuclear fission of atoms, usually uranium (natural uranium or slightly enriched in the isotope U-235), in which the heat necessary to obtain the water vapor is obtained of a nuclear reactor.
