Poverty among Hispanics

Recently theer have been a protest on the wall street. The main agenda of the protest is to register their voices against the unequal distribution of the wealth. The agenda of the protestants was to show that one percent peole in America are getting rich and wealthy whereas the other ninety nine percent of people is in poverty. These protestants want to shows that this one percent rich population is getting wealthier at the expense of the rest of the ninety nine percent people who are suffering from poverty. Many of the people who were protesting on the Wall street were those who live in poverty. When everyone knows that there is enough wealth that can be distributed in a fair way the what kept these groups of potestants to launch this protest and to raise their voices to get their basic rights. These protestants were comprised of various religions and ethnic group. These groups of protestants belong to different ethnic groups and religious groups and they also possess power to exert pressure to eradicate this system of unequal distribution fo wealth. Other than that there is another fact that most of these people who were protesting have to spend most of their time working to make a living, and therefore do not have time to evaluate and take action on the bigger picture. It is because the wealthy one percent people has managed to divide them with their imaginary differences. Poverty devalues human existence because there is no reason for it to continue other than the fact that the wealthy people get benefit from poor population and from third world and under developed countries (Beck et al, pp. 102).

Most of the times these groups remin indulge in searching the identity or recognizing their group on the basis of their religion or ethnicity. In this race of recognition and to get the approval for their groups these people often forget that they are in the same situtaion and they suffer from the same thing that is poverty. They al pay taxes and they do not even know where this money goes. They all belong to a segment that work extreemly hard and contribiute a lot to the over all economy despite that they are the ones who belong to the group or segment that has more chances to live without medical care, to be homeless, and they end up paying every dime (Boyle, pp. 12).

People in power have always divide the masses in such a way so that they disagrre with each other on trivial and imprtant matters which would unable them to unite and make any sisbtantial difference for their rights or for the equal distribtution of wealth. In this way, rich and wealthy people remain wealthy and poor remain poor.
