Leadership skills are very important in order to manage a business in a well mannered way. When we know about different theories and aspects of leadership then we should also come to know that how to practice them in our life. In my portfolio, I am going to describe you that how I used leadership theories in my real life. The main purpose of my portfolio is to reflect the importance of relating leadership theories in our real life, and how can we manage work as an individual or team task. Let me explain what I am going to tell you in this research, it includes three sections. In the first section, I will tell you about some leadership skills that are required in order to become an effective administrative manager. In the second section, I will describe the main aspect about leader-follower relationship with the examples from my own life. Then in the last and third section, I will describe how they gained knowledge can be applicable in other work areas. I will describe you all in the light of my own experience.

Section 1

The unit taught us that how to apply leadership in our routine life. While we are in an organization and we have to complete a group task or an individual task then how we have to complete it successfully by applying leadership tactics in work environment. The unit allow us to do practice in the work environment and during the practice the taught us by our mistakes so that we can learn in a better way. The unit also helped us to sharpen our listening skills so that we can communicate with others in an enhancive way. A business can be successful only when we know how to communicate with others in a better way. The unit taught them, how to co-operate with your team members so that they also show co-operation in return.

Every worker has its importance in the work environment. A specific task is given to every worker and he has to accomplish that task in a successful manner. A worker can do his task best if the leader leads him in an enhancive way. A leader has the responsibility to tell his worker how to organize and complete his task, and the how to manage the activities that are required to achieve his goals. The leadership skills have their importance in every aspect of your life whatever the task you have to complete. They help you in your career development, as you can develop your career in a well mannered way only when you know how to manage different situations. It doesn't matter which type of post you have it can be a post of secretary, administrative assistant or any other member of the unit. You require management skills in order to manage your work.
