Introduction

Extrusion is the process of obtaining a continuous or semi-finished products (in the form of profiles, sheets or films) with a polymer, consisting of plasticized material in the plasticizing extruder system and its shaping by extrusion through a suitably shaped tip, located in the head. Industries that deal with plastics tend to use the extrusion method to handle customization and lower costs in its production .

The plastic is composed of large molecules formed by the union of simpler and is useful in the production, packaging of various products. The plastic is achieved by chemical reaction of oils and molded by heat or pressure. Thermoplastics are manufactured using the extruder, a machine that processes such materials. The raw material in the form of small grains is fed through a hopper into a barrel heated in a screw cylinder carries along the tube.
