Introduction

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is an act in which the writer or the researcher uses the researched information of other author without any proper citation and quotation marks. It is an illegal act according to the copyright act. Proper citation helps in removing the level of plagiarism and in addressing someone else's work in a meaningful way. Changing few words does not remove plagiarism; it requires complete different approach that is known as paraphrasing. If someone uses someone else's work, thoughts without giving credit to the original author this act comes under plagiarism (Clarke & Roger, 2006).
