Five Educational Philosophies

The philosophy of education refers to the philosophic and personal reflection of a person towards the problems, aims, objectives, nature and issues regarding the education. The philosophy of education also entails in it the possible solutions to the problems and the issues that are associated with the education. The philosophy of education categorizes the issues related to education in two different segments. The first segment is the philosophical issues which entail in it the nature of education and the second segment includes the particular issues that take place due to the practice of the education.

There are five basic, and primary educational philosophies of education are experimentalism, idealism, perennialism, realism and existentialism. All these five philosophies describe different types of views towards the education and towards the issues and problems related to the education. In their entirety, these philosophies presents a large and a broader view of thought about the way schools should be and the way they should be operated. People who hold these philosophies tend to develop the imagery of the schools which are very different from the existing schools. The learning in those schools is also very different and unique from the schools that already exist.

Personal Philosophy of Education

According to my interpretation and believes the education is a unique learning process that every individual view, in a different manner. Apart from this, education is also a unique experience that is different for every student too. This is significant for teachers to entirely understand the values of their job also the importance of their designation in terms of respect and influence.
