Introduction

This project is based from my tour to the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa. There was a great amount of art work in the museum. The art piece that I have selected for the detailed analysis is the pictures of a woman and her children. The following section aims at discussing in detail the exhibit and the arrangement of the art work in the museum.

A. Introduce the Exhibit and Museum

The Philbrook Museum of Art is the most significant museum that exhibits the cultural issues that exits in the societies. There are various cultural issues are being addressed in the Philbrook Museum of Art. The art works from Europe, America, and Africa as well as from the Asia are being exhibited in the Philbrook Museum of Art (Jesse, R., Ronald, C., 2012).

B. Why you chose to critique your particular exhibit.

The selected exhibit is chosen for the critical analysis because in this museum there are the wide varieties of issues exhibited relating to the variety of cultures. The critical analysis of this museum will help in understanding that what issues are common and significant in all the cultures.

C. Procedures: Describe what you did during this project

In order to carry out this project, I visited the museum to critically view the exhibits within the museum. During this project, I selected the painting art work “Madonna and child with the young” for the analysis that was made by the Raphael. During this project I particularly focused upon the art work that highlighted the issues of the women.
