The thing that I have always been interested in is 'Social Work' especially working with those children and families who are helpless. It is an academic and professional discipline that strives to bring improvement in the wellbeing and quality of life of an individual, group or community by providing them assistance in research, direct practice, policy making and teaching of those people who are social unjust and are violated of their basic human rights. It is highly rewarding and yet challenging career to help people in overcoming their difficulties and obstacles and making the most of themselves. The issues from substance misuse to the cases of abuse or neglect, along with supporting those individuals who need care and medication. A social worker is expected to work alongside with other supporting organizations like hospital staff, police, teachers and caregivers only then he or she can become a true social worker. For a social worker the qualification that would be highly preferable would be law and management studies. These will help a social worker in effectively managing the activities, do justice and equity in the social system.

Everybody can never become a social worker as it is an in-built quality of an individual that is gifted by God. It is necessary for a social worker to have good communicational skills and he or she should have patience in his or her personality. He or she should have the resilience and the ability to handle extensive pressure or stress. It is the duty and responsibility of a social worker to provide self-less support to those people who are unable to resolve their issues.
