Factors that influenced my decision to choose nursing as a career

Profession of Nursing is a demanding and a challenging profession, although I believe that the incentives could be too high. I have prepared myself to be engaged in this pious career. I have an ability to care and help the suffering and through nursing career, I would be able to accomplish by desire. It is a profession for those who are trustworthy, dedicated and reliable and have a capability to make excellent relationship with their patients. For a couple of time I have been working in many clinical settings and nursing homes as a volunteer with the psychological ailings and with the physically impaired both. Through this, a strong wish of becoming a nurse has pierced its roots profoundly in my entity. Working in such environment has improved my proficiencies of managing and interacting with the individuals and the community. There is a strong inspiration that led me to show my intentions to be a nurse. It was the time when I was in my early years and my father got severely ill because of a cardiac arrest.

At that instance, I was feeling myself quite helpless and was sunk in tears only. When he was taken to the hospital, there I saw and observed how the nurse was treating and taking care of my father. In addition, I keenly monitored the environment that nurse was working in and later on I also talked to her n asked about my queries regarding this career and way of treatment. I also gathered the entire information about nursing by talking or somehow taking informational interviews of the nursing personnel working with my father during his stay in hospital.

I am a good fit for nursing program and, in turn, how nursing program would be a good fit for me

I consider myself a good fit for the nursing program because I am quite capable to think about the remunerations of this profession which would accomplish my intended targets and facilitate me to satisfy my heartily desires. I have the talent, capability, enthusiasm, dexterities of learning and becoming a competent nurse. For me, nursing is somewhat more than a career; it is the way to live a fantastic life, because lots of dedication, skills and enthusiasm and personality of nurse sign on their profession. I am quite excited to be a fit member of this livelihood. In order to achieve this objective, I need to get proper education and knowledge on the subject of nursing job. I have high tendency of sacrificing my leisure time to make sure that all of my assignments which are given to me will be executed on time.

In fact, I get pleasure by working with sicks and by developing a strong and trustworthy relationship with the patients. I can easily talk to a group of individuals confidently. I am quite positive that these characteristics and skills will be of very help at the ...
