Personal Statement

Behind the success of every individual, there is always a driving force that enables then keep themselves motivated. For me, my mother has been the greatest source of inspiration and she has been the one who has kept me motivated throughout the preceding years. It was since the time when I was in my school when I developed my interest in law. She encouraged me towards the subject, and was herself a lawyer in Bangladesh, however she was unable to pursue with her career because she was not able to converse well in English. Every individual aims to make the dreams of their parents come true and this is because of the importance they have in our lives. For me, my parents are very important, more significantly my mother. Both my parents have worked very hard to ensure that I get the best education despite of the financial constraints that they had to face. In my eye, they are the ones are made me what I am today. My mother dreamed to see me grow up as a lawyer and I wanted to make her dream come true.

The high school that I attended was St. Mary's School, Hashnabad in Bangladesh. Like every boy, even I wanted to become a famous boy in the school who is liked and appreciated by everyone. I have been an average child who served as a barrier for me in various activities; however I had to opt for a strategy to combat this problem, and therefore, I worked hard and eventually got the opportunity to attain leadership positions at school. It is not easy to get something without working hard and it was because of hard work and encouragement that kept me motivated. With this, I was able to become House Captain in my school which was one of the most prestigious positions in my high school. During my leadership, my team won the best house award which is given on the basis of excellence in academics and extra circular activities. By doing so, everybody came to know about me and my teachers appreciated me. Being active increases chances of attaining our goals, which is the reason why I made myself the part of activities such as Leadership training service (LTS), Nature Club and Social Service events.
