Personal Part

Our approach to life is influenced significantly by our immediate family member and our respective social groups association. They influence our perception, our decisions, our dreams, our association, our approach to life, way of doing things, and goals of leading life. My personal life has been greatly influenced by the role my parents played in my upbringing. Our family migrated from China to United States four years ago. I experienced a completely new way of living life compare to restrictive and limited approach to our daily life actions in China. In past few years, my family and I had to deal with many challenges. These challenges presented an enormous amount of learning for me in stimulating my experience level, skills, expertise, and enhancement of knowledge that benefited my talent skills.

Shifting to a different country changes the approach of leading life. It presents enormous challenges in living life. These include professional working, daily life challenges, social development, financial issues, and sustaining in a completely unfamiliar environment. Change has to do with becoming different. It involves changing the way we think, what we do, what we say, how we act and who we are. To achieve this, it requires an intentional act of will and a situation that is challenging enough for making us doing things differently. My life in America enabled me to extend my qualitative approach towards leading life. Less comfort may be found from such a life, but I believe that nothing else than those challenges could have enabled me to learn better. Now, four years past, I have grown up as a strong girl with strong faith and exceptional leadership.

I belong to a middle class family from China. For reasons, my parents never had the chance to study in any university, and they had to start working when they were young to feed their family. However, their thirst for knowledge has never faded, and their dreams have become mine. Four years ago, my parents decided to move to the United States so that I can study in a better environment. Growing up in such a family and knowing the sacrifice my parents made for me have let me realize that I must do my best to obtain a promising future and to honor my parents.
