Personal Statement

?I was born and raised on the island of Key West, Florida, and I have always considered myself lucky to have been raised in an island culture, surrounded by the love and support of family and friends.

Before I was born, my parents decided to leave the island to attend college, but when my brother (who is four years older than me) was still a baby, they moved back to their hometown.
