Personal Statement

Above are the words of Emerson. These are the words that have always urged me to embrace such dreams and ambitions that would not only be productive for myself but, would also produce maximum outcomes for the society.

Life is beautiful! It is the privilege right of every individual to lead a happy, healthy and fit life. Whenever, people suffer from any sort of disease or illness they rely on the healthcare professionals. Dentistry is one of the most important fields of the healthcare industry. This is the field that has always intrigued me. From my childhood I have always been very concerned about cleanliness and teeth have always gained my attention with this regard. In My childhood, I used to read books and articles about oral care. This habit of mine evoked in me the thought to pass this information and acquired knowledge to others. Eventually, I developed my profound interest in dentistry. This is the reason that has compelled me to choose the field of dentistry. I chose to enter the field of dentistry because it offers so many opportunities to work closely with the community. I believe that everyone should have access to dental care. I truly admire the strides that local dentists have made to provide free dental care to their communities and I would love to do the same. I have always been good with children, which is the reason I enjoyed immensely when I travelled with a group of pre-dental students to Tegucigalpa, Honduras where I was responsible to teach the children about the importance of oral hygiene.
