Personal Statement - Ricardo Espitaleta

My name is Ricardo Espitaleta, and in the following sections, I will attempt to provide a personal insight into my professional and personal characteristics. I have always believed that as an individual, it is necessary to realize the necessity of the learning process. Continuous attention to detail and an accepting approach towards criticism allows every unexpected occurrence to expose an opportunity. I choose to pursue challenges with an aggressive and dedicated direction. I always expect to face challenges and never expect a plan to proceed according to expectation; thereby allowing me to be ready to accommodate any changes that need to be made. I have found this tactic to be one in which I manage the people surrounding me by managing myself. Personal management has always been a critical element for me because my professional positions have almost always demanded extensive interaction with people.

My experience as a Senior Personal Banker in Bank of America allowed me to understand the necessity of achieving a win-win situation. I now strongly believe that the customer should leave the table with the perception that he/she has gotten a fair outcome from the deal because future business and sustainable performance depend on repeat customers.
