Personal Statement

From the time when I stepped into the academic world, I have desired to have a professional role in the field of nursing. I would like to accomplish my goal of becoming a fully qualified registered nurse, learning from my past experiences and selflessly caring for humanity. My work at UNHCR hospital in Liberia was challenging yet satisfying as it involved caring for the sick refugees in Sierra Leone who were often unable to communicate their pain through words. At that time, I witnessed and fully understood the reality of firsthand human suffering.
