Introduction

The personal statement describes me and my experience with the field of accounts and finance. It gives a comprehensive outlook of my academic achievement and experience pertaining to the relevant field. It also justifies my interest in accounts and finance, and my desire to be the part of this ever-growing and dynamic industry. It is an attempt to justify my qualifications, with regard to, admission criteria in university.

Relevant details

Accounts and finance is my core area of interest. It is the key area, at which the heart of entire business and commerce lies. Businesses and economies only run, when they have enforcement of appropriate accounting measures and standards. The field of accounting is extensively useful, while calculating and reporting the financial figures, whereas, finance stands for assessment, acquisition and use of funds in the best possible manner. I want to study accounts and finance, because of its significance to the business activity, as well as, my personal experience in accounting. The degree program in accounts and finance will equip me with additional knowledge that builds foundation of a successful academic career. I am extremely good at number aptitude, and therefore, looking forward to make a career with numbers. The phenomenon of assessing business needs, acquiring funds, and implementing them in the most profitable manner, interests me. However, accounting and finance is a multifaceted and vast discipline. I am more interested in costing, budgeting and reporting of financial figures on the accounting side, as well as, analysis of financial statements on the finance side. However, I am more pertinent to excel with an accounting career, and look forward to an accounting career.
