Personal Statement

Learning never ends, all Seas and oceans of knowledge cannot quench my thirst of learning. This is the way I am, and this is the reason I am living. I feel fortunate and proud being a student. I have always engaged in a progression of questioning for success, until I found the concept of “Success”. I want to make my future by completing my Undergraduate Degree in Economics from University of Washington. This is the area of my concentration and will be cause of my succession.

Academic History

My name is Wenqiang Wu,birthdate, born on May 25th 1992. From Xuzhou city, Jiangsu province,china. I am now in Seattle Central Community College and will graduate from here, apply for Fall 2012 UW Seattle. I accepted compulsory education and attended Seattle Central C.C. after graduating from high school. My grade is good and I know a lot about UW because I have been here almost 3 yrs, so I am confident for application. I should thank my parents, they are my most helpful supporters.

Career Goals

I am eager to learn more knowledge , improve my understanding on economics and find good things of USA economy , which China can borrow. I developed further interest for this subject after realizing the importance of economics. I know that if I study this course, I will be able to help my country from the economics perspective. I also wanted to do some economics volunteer work in an economic organization and take economic decisions. By taking admission in Economics I hope to learn more knowledge, improve my understanding on economics. It will help me find good things of economy of United States which China can borrow.

After graduating, I plan to work for a company to help them become economically strong, and then have my own business. I have a clear career objective in my mind: to be part of a leading international trade company with extensive import and export operations. The international trade field is of special interest to me for a number of reasons.

Cultural Understanding

The inspiration of studying economics came from my father. My father is a governor of municipal government. My father's duty is to work for the well being of various people. He studied economy in his university and then served to the economic sector of our country. He told me that preserving the ecological environment and economic sustainable development is the only way to improve people's life.

Educational Challenges

This was not a one night dream; I have given my 100% potentials and dedication in my life and make a ladder of success. My steps and hardworking include completing my high school and college degree with my deliberation and painstaking attitude. I want to move further with my hard work and efforts.
