In my opinion, this pretest comes under the ACA's ethical code in section B, which is about confidentiality, privileged communication and privacy, and sub section B.5.b that is about responsibility of parents and legal guardians. Under the AAMFT, this pretest comes under the principle II which discloses the limits of confidentiality.
