Personal Reflection Paper

I am making this personal reflection paper in order to provide the feedback regarding the presentation module which I have attended and my team performance over the period of time. Reflection paper provides a reflection of previous activities and management over the period of time. It provides information about how I have managed the team and how my team has performed on a group level basis and how the individual in the team has performed and what are his or her contributions. Contributions are made in several forms it includes whether the individual member has provided contribution in the form of generating content or attending the meetings and providing valuable suggestions in order to improve the group level performance of the team.

Team Development, Peer Support & Peer Assessment

The team commitment was extraordinarily high and everyone was willing to work. The team was work together in a great manner. However there were several disputes which were raised at different point in times. However the team was able to resolve the disputes and work towards the achievement of goals and objectives. There was one major issue which we faced in the team is that the group members have several disputes arise at various points in time which were mainly due to the issues which the group members were facing. This happened primarily during the brainstorming session because everyone in the group is willing to have their opinion to be placed in the presentation. This was not possible because the people have to brainstorm different ideas and then the best ideas selected will be placed in the presentation. The group members are new to each other and it took to get acquainted with each other due to which communication barrier continuously existed however the barrier was remover mainly due to breaking the ice. I have motivated the members because we have to complete the project with this team. Primarily the team has been able to understand this objective and aligned themselves with this objective. They are able to get acquainted and thus the people have been able to identify themselves and the people in the group which made the task easier for the people. The commitment of the team increased after this due to which the group performance has been improved and the people have been able to identify the core objectives for which they have to work.

The group commitment was excellent people were attending all the meetings regularly however the conflict has been continuously existent because everyone believed that their performance is in best interest of the group. This has disrupted the environment of the meeting. However I finally warned the group members about their conflicting behavior which was not in the best interest of the people.
