Knowledge is power and is never wasted. These are fundamental truths about the nature of knowledge. They say that a person is learning from the day he takes his first breath till the day he takes his last. Even religions of the world promote and encourage their believers to learn and gain knowledge. It is a noble pursuit and is the only thing that separates man from a beast. However, it is not an easy task. Learning is a difficult task which is a pre-requisite for the gain of any knowledge of any subject. The world has a huge number of disciples in which everyday more and more people are seeking to gain mastery over. I am one of those people who wish to pursue medical education. I wish to gain medical knowledge firsthand so for that reason I intend on applying into a medical school. After learning the generalized fields or core subjects, now that I have choice I am opting to go in this particular direction.
I got my first taste of medical knowledge when I got admission in Shaheed Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Iran. In that particular medical school, I got the chance to perform manual tasks such as handling equipments and performing dissection operations with my hands which further assured me that I am indeed a perfect candidate for the medical career. In the surge of exploring medical schools I had the pleasure to make the acquaintance of many medical students. Camaraderie with them unveiled to me the fact that they also study anatomy of the head and neck, patient relations, genetics, and immunology areas of medicine.
