Personal History Statement

I am Mine Zhao, born on the 25th of May, 1992 in the Xuzhou city, Jiangsu province of China. It was my dream to come to the United States and explore the broad horizon of life. Currently I am studying in Central Community college of Seattle. I love this place but, I believe that University of California is a better place for me as it is one of the best reputed universities for studying; I believe it would provide me best learning opportunities and expand the horizon of my knowledge. I am excited to apply for business economy. Since my childhood, my father has had been my role model and my teacher, as well. He learns economy in the University and, I got influenced through his teachings which he uses to provide me during vacations (Andersen, 2008).

The university provide such learning environment which I believe, will be helpful for me for the achievement of goals of my life. I have all the capabilities to grasp and capitalize on the knowledge and learning that the University of California offers.

My ambition to get admission in this university is one of the successful elements of my desire to be a successful learner. I have been a brilliant student throughout my academic career. I am good at math with excellent analytical abilities. Math is just like my favorite subject, I have a lot of grasp on this subject. In the classroom, I am an interactive student who likes to participate in class through asking questions and sharing ideas.
