My interest in Early Childhood Education began twenty years ago when I was pregnant with my son. Since then I was taking classes every semester while working and supporting my family and finished my AA degree and BA degree in Early Childhood education. It wasn't an easy task but, being a strong, determined, motivated and compassionate individual I accomplished my goal. My personal and professional goals in pursuing a Master's degree in early childhood education are to help the toddlers at every stage of their development in the early childhood settings. I am very optimistic that I have the required skills, attributes and qualities to understand the developmental needs and desires of children in terms of teaching, cognitive development etc. The future as an early childhood professional is very bright because this field plays an important role in developing a society and gives shape to future generation. There are certain career options for an early childhood professional such as teacher in early childhood program, Family day care provider, family therapist, parent educators, program consultant, child development researchers, teacher trainers and director of child care facility.

I strongly believe that early education in a child's life is critical to education, and this is the time when the information can be absorbed more competently. To make sure that children receive the best likely education, it is essential that educators must be skilled, trained and knowledgeable to provide knowledge and development. This motivated me to pursue a Master's degree in early childhood education. There are various factors which contributed to my decision to pursue graduate degree in early childhood education. I think that the process of higher education will help me to understand the importance of preserving and theories used in the education of young children

I believe that the job of the childhood teacher is to instruct the children particularly in the area of study. Teacher is not the primarily authority that defined the person with powering for making issues settlements, having the right on control, determine and command. The true and optimum role of teacher should be motivating children for learning. Students are more motivated for learning through demonstrating from inside their classroom that makes the instruction blocked for them.

The importance of this degree in Early Childhood Education is that what is learned in the stage of life from 0 to 6 years, it determines our behavior in society when we grow up. I believe that the early years in the life of children are not only critical for growth and development of their cognitive abilities; communication and social but also become the cornerstone for human capital development of a country.
