Introduction

The purpose of this report is to evaluate different skills that I posses in order to cope up in my professional career. My skills are very critical for not only succeeding in my educational career, but also in my work life. There are various requirements of Education's Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) that all graduate students must have therefore, this report will contain my personal development planning, personal goals, learning and management skills so that I can evaluate myself as a professional student and employee.

Personal Development Planning

I think personal development planning is a structured process in which an individual reflect his own learning and performance and also make planning for educational, personal and career development. In personal development planning, the individuals are able to access themselves in more effective manner and they are able to analyze their strengths and weaknesses. I think it is extremely necessary for a student to recognize his abilities so that it is easier for him to implement them in the professional career. If the personal development planning of the students is related to the skill that they posses, then they can select any university according to their abilities and make their career in accordance to their skills and abilities. Another benefit of personal development planning is that it allows a student to obtain good marks in the academics because it can help the student to identify his weaknesses so that he can overcome that weakness. Overall, a student who have performed personal development planning is much better and well-organized, as compared to the student who have not performed PDP.

Specific

In my educational career, I want to become an MBA so that I can learn management and administration of business operations. Since my interest is in marketing therefore, I want to do my majors in marketing.

Measurable

I have been consistently analyzing my grades in college which helps to determine that I can acquire an MBA degree in marketing.

Attainable

I want to earn my MBA degree within two years of graduation with A grade in all the marketing subject.

Relevant

I will write a complete thesis on a marketing topic and will spend most of the time in performing primary and secondary research because research can be a strong support for me being a marketer.

Timely

I will take 25 hours semester so that I can be able to complete my MBA degree within two years and will also perform my thesis during the same period.

I have been taking good grades in my college, which indicates that I can acquire a master degree with high grades. Moreover, I have been reading different textbooks related to marketing which enhance my knowledge of marketing. I have developed my cognitive and personal management skills because I am able to lead different teams and all the team members are convinced by my leadership qualities.
