A strategic manager is a person who displays traits of good leadership to create change in an evolving atmosphere while conducting operations on a strategic level. This individual is responsible for crucial decisions, setting strategies and goals to outperform potential as well as existing competitors. In this regard, personal development is a main focal point in the current situation of Global markets. Through this grooming technique, the manager acquires knowledge and leadership skills required to accomplish company goals in the long term (Dess et al. 2005).
