IT Skills

I will take part in workshops for the development of my IT skills. I believe that workshops will assist me in the acquisition and development of basic skills, so that I can use word, excel and power point applications.

I will require cooperation and assistance of my peers and instructors to help me during the learning and developing period. In addition, it will need a computer, Internet, and some sample tasks to perform. This will help me in achieving the objective of acquiring IT skills. In addition, I will need a recorder, so that I can record the sessions with the consent of the management for my future use.

The success criteria for me will be my performance in future assignments and tasks. In addition, the criteria will also be the attainment of certificate of the workshop, which I will get on the completion of the learning sessions. The certificate will also prove that I have successfully acquired the skills.

The workshop will consist of IT skills in a structured program of 13 sessions in which

The objectives will be progressively developed, with a frequency of twice a week.

Each session will last up to two hours. In addition, the activities of the workshop will also incorporate home assignments, which will require me to complete a number of IT tasks at home within a specific period.

Communication Skills

In order to improve my communication skills (oral and written), I will incorporate the use of English language while interacting with others. This will help me in gaining confidence and improve my presentation skills. Moreover, I will take active part in English language classes to improve my oral and written communication skills.

I will need the assistance of my colleagues and peers in the development and improvement of my communication skills. On the other hand, I will use online and my institute's library to access reading material, so that I can further sharpen my reading and grammatical skills.

The success criterion for this skill is the learning outcomes and grades in the English language course. The marks obtained in the course will indicate how I have improved and developed the communication skills. Moreover, the success of my presentations will also represent the development and improvement in my communication skills.

The target date will depend on the date of the exam. In addition, I will develop SMART objectives to determine the time for the development and completion of my skill related objective. Moreover, I will practice my oral communication skills for 2 hours a day, which will involve talking in front of the mirror and reading books.
